This knitted beauty is a 12 pointed star that I knitted for a friend who is a mathematician and loves to make hundred sided models for fun. This was another project that was sent to my email in box from the great folks at Berrocco. Not that I have ever bought any yarn from this company at all. I am sure the yarn is great, but if you do go to their web site, sign up for the email newsletter. It comes out weekly and you never know what pattern will show up. I have gotten two great projects out of it so far! The variation on this star is to make it out of the sock yarn so it is striped. I was thinking if I do this again, I would make each point a different color, maybe.
