I am awful proud of the things I knitted this past year. The best one, by far, is Squiddy! I made him for my friend Gabby who studied squid for her Ph.D. The directions for Squiddy came right to my mailbox last year, so I knew I had to make him. It was a lot quicker and easier than I thought it would be. It took only a couple of hours and then I threw him in the washing machine to felt him. Squiddy liked the washing machine, although the soap did get in his eyes.
I probably should have picked more contrasting colors, but the blue was sufficient. Who knows, maybe the next email of knitting directions will have a Daphnia in it!
