Back when I got my bike, it had only a helmet and lock as extra added items. Now it has a head light, tail light, rack, horn, and grocery bag added on. It was that souped up bike I rode last Friday for "Ride/Walk to Work Day". It is only a three mile ride one way for me, but I got two free breakfasts. I took a bagel from the folks at the statehouse and half of a chocolate chip muffin at the DES. The weirdest part was being cheered on by the Dept. of Transportation folks. It wasn't like I was doing the Boston Marathon or anything.
Of course, best part was the pizza I won in the raffle! I got a gift certificate for a free 3 topping EXTRA LARGE pizza from Constantly Pizza. If you are ever in Concord, we will take you there. (Or to Vinnie's--their pizza is even better.)
Yes, we'll take you to Vinnie's for dinner and Ballard's ice cream for dessert.
