If you look closely at the table, you can see that there are brown blobs behind the doggie. Yes, those are what you think they are, doggie poops! Of course, they are made of clay and are not the real thing. I am giving that little girl a beach ball because she "Scooped the Poop". It was Discover Wild NH Day and I was doing outreach for the Beach Program. We were trying to get people to consider picking up after their dog when they are at the beach.
About 5,300 people were in attendance . It was a very successful day! And, someone took a picture of me with the clay poop and put it in the May edition of the NH Department of Environmental Services newsletter. I am so special!
