Outside the window of the den, the rhubarb is growing bigger. We are so lucky to have inherited rhubarb plants. However, we have rhubarb envy. Our next door neighbors, the ones with the greyhound and the rectangular yard, have a GIGANTIC rhubarb plant. Their plant is already putting up its flowers!
I was talking to the neighbors today and it turns out they have grape vine envy. They are envious of our grape vine. So, we made an even exchange. They can pick some of our grapes and we can pick some of their rhubarb. What a GREAT neighborhood! Well, except for the skunks, but that can be dealt with later. Stay tuned for pictures of rhubarb pies and other such rhubarb items.
