The Christmas Tree of 2005

This tree is now in the great big burn pile at the Lee Transfer Station. It served us well. It was quite fragrant and every time we walked in the apartment, we would say "What a nice smelling Chirstmas Tree!" I took this picture just before we took the tree to the dump so it isn't as beautiful as it was when we first got it. If you look to the bottom right of this picture, you can see a box full of green stuff. The green stuff are all the needles that fell off the tree. Now we have a Box Of Christmas! I am not sure what else to do with the needles, but there might be more fir needle sachets coming from my sewing machine soon!

We had a bumper crop of Christmas cards this year--it seems that everyone is in good health and happy. We got lots of family pictures which was nice! Maybe next year we will send out pictures of our cats. They are our precious, annoying, fur-filled babies. I bet you can't wait! Oh, and on't worry, our often requested Christmas letter will be a part of the season. (Well, we did have one request for the letter! That counts, doesn't it?)
