I was getting really, really sick of misplacing the remote controls. Or worse, the remotes would end up on the TV or the VCR. What is the point of a remote if you have to get up to get it? So, the solution? Yellow Duct Tape TO THE RESCUE! It didn't take me all that long, maybe an hour, to make this nifty Remote Control Holder. There are four slots--one for each of our four remotes. I know there are a bunch more remote controls floating around the house, but these are the four we use regularly. I have now attached the remote pockets to one of our tv trays permanently.
Isn't it just too amazing! I should do TV Infomercials! Well, no, not really, because then Duct Tape would be WORK and not fun. I have to say I am getting quite proficient in my duct taping accomplishments--wallets, folders, view scopes, bows, remote control holders and picture frames. More to come, I am sure. So, what have you made lately?
Three months later and Project: Duct Tape Remote Holder is still working. This is way more successful than my attempt to keep the remotes in one place - in the year 2000 I attached velcro to the back of each remote and to the top of the videotape holder. That lasted about eight seconds.
