We stopped by the Jenness Goat Farm on our way back from Concord today. It was so cute! They have a bunch of momma goats and baby goats and ducks and a potbellied pig!
This is a family run farm that makes all sorts of goat milk products sold in local stores. I've seen the sign on Rt. 4 pointing to the farm. I've also seen their stuff for sale at local stores, but I have never stopped or bought stuff before today. WHAT A GREAT PLACE!
The farm itself is pretty small. It is a barn with a connector to their house. The store is in the connector. There are a couple of outdoor pens and some indoor stalls. There are about 20 goats in the various pens and stalls. The duck wanders freely around as does the pot bellied pig, Fern.
We even got a tour of the farm from Caleb, the young man of the farm who just finished kindergarten. What a helpful child! He showed us around, let us take our picture, and even allowed us to help him move the three baby goats to the right stall. Farm Living is the life for me!
